---Wayne Milburn retired in the fall of 1998 and finally had time for a hobby. He had sketched with pencil as a child and decided to give painting a try. Wayne took a class in watercolor from Dorothy Wagner, a Port Huron, Michigan, artist. During class, Wayne began to realize that painting was harder than it looked; but he was hooked and his choice of medium was to become watercolor. Wayne’s approach is to mentally work out the composition before he begins to paint and then the painting itself seems to flow. He favors landscapes of all seasons.
