---Mary has drawn for as long as she can remember. When she was a young woman she drew pictures of her children that captured their likenesses in lieu of photography. Virginia Gini Bett: Watercolor

--Gini Bett was originally schooled in textile painting at the Institute of Art in Des Moines,
Iowa. After graduation from the institute, Gini taught textile painting in Wisconsin and
Oregon for eleven years. Later Gini became interested in oil painting and took an oil
painting course through The Faculty Wives Club at University of Michigan, taught by
Dr. Pallozza. Gini’s interest in art continued when she and her husband, Virgil, retired to
Lexington, Michigan. As Gini said, he sailed and she painted. Gini received instruction in
watercolor from talented artists in Florida as well as at out local St Clair Community
College in Port Huron, Michigan. Gini’s choice of medium is watercolor with which She
creates colorful landscapes, birds and florals.

Ann Bricker: Watercolor

---Ann Bricker has always enjoyed painting and drawing. After taking private watercolor
lessons from a local artist in Sanilac County, she discovered her affinity for that particular medium. Ann’s watercolors beautifully represent her love of nature with the depiction of
flowers nestled in Michigan landscapes as well as her waterscapes highlighting the beauty of the coast of Lake Huron and the thumb area.

Charles Cooper: Oil and Acrylic

---Charles Cooper’s father was an artist and as a child he grew up surrounded by art. He felt it was the natural thing for him to do to go to art school. Charles attended the
Cummings Art School in Des Moines, Iowa, where he focused on life drawing. After
graduation, Chuck worked for a short time in a commercial art studio and then moved on to working at a lithographing plant in Nebraska. He continued to work with lithography in one form or another until his retired. While his sons were involved with hockey, Chuck silk screened thousands of hockey pucks with team logos which were taken to many different
locations. After retirement, he refreshed his painting skills by taking a class at St. Clair
Community College in Port Huron, Michigan. Chucks abilities have allowed him to paint a variety of subjects ranging from portraits to animals to landscapes but he finds that floral still life is one of his favorites. Actually, Chuck says, the still life subjects can be just about
anything that interests him.

Sheila Dunbar: Acrylic and Pen and Ink
---Sheila Dunbar was educated in studio art at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky. She received additional instruction at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She has a Bachelor of Art degree with a teaching certificate. She continued her art education through instruction by local artists from Rochester, Romeo and Lexington, Michigan. Sheila has worked in a variety of media and art forms but is particularly fond of acrylic painting. Her subject matter is often inspired by her travels throughout the United States.
